Terms of service
Plain-English summary: we give you modelled information from public data, you check it before you act on it.
1. Who we are
Plotworthy provides software that aggregates public UK property, planning and energy data and models feasibility outcomes from it. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
2. What the service is — and is not
Plotworthy is an information and modelling tool. It is not a valuation, a survey, a planning application service, or financial, legal or planning advice. You are responsible for verifying any figure with the local planning authority and appropriate professionals before acting on it.
3. Accounts
You must give accurate details, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be 18 or over. We may suspend accounts used to scrape, resell or misrepresent our data.
4. Plans, credits and payment
Report credits are bought in advance, unlock one property each, and do not expire. The unlimited subscription is billed monthly in advance and renews until cancelled. Prices shown include any applicable UK VAT unless stated otherwise. While the service is in test mode no card is charged and no payment obligation arises.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a subscription at any time from your dashboard; access continues to the end of the paid month and does not renew. Unused report credits are non-refundable but remain usable. If a report is materially wrong because of an error on our side, contact us and we will re-credit it.
6. Professional listings
Listed professionals warrant that they hold the qualifications, registrations and insurance they claim, and that they are entitled to trade in the districts they select. Listings are subscriptions, renewing monthly until cancelled. We may remove a listing that attracts substantiated complaints. Plotworthy does not contract for, supervise or guarantee any work carried out by a listed professional and takes no commission on it.
7. Leads and communications
When you request a quote, your enquiry and contact email are shared with that professional so they can reply. Do not send confidential or sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.
8. Third-party data
Reports reproduce data from HM Land Registry, planning.data.gov.uk, PlanIt, EPC Open Data Communities and council registers under their respective licences. That data may be incomplete, delayed or superseded. We attribute each source and the date of capture, but we cannot warrant its accuracy.
9. Acceptable use
Do not scrape, bulk-download, resell or redistribute report content, attempt to bypass paid gating, or use the service to harass listed professionals. Report content is licensed to you for your own property decisions.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury or fraud. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss arising from planning refusal or purchase decisions.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
